Tickets for this event will be released shortly.
The song of the seasons is always beckoning us. If we are willing to listen, we can be with the seasons as they really are: a constantly evolving series of cycles inviting us into a space of intimate relationship. How can we offer our attention to each of these cycles and their seasonal expressions?
On Friday March 27, join Sufi teacher and Emergence Magazine founder and executive editor Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee in the Reethaus for an evening lecture exploring the themes of his new book, Song of the Seasons: A Meditation on Cycles, Story, and Humility (Emergence Press, April 2026). Rooted in the understanding that the seasons’ many cycles mirror the sacred nature of existence, the book is part of Emergence Magazine’s broader exploration of the changing nature of the seasons. In this lecture, Emmanuel will explore how engaging our attention with the cycles within the seasons deepens our relationship with place and the living world; how the cycle of birth, growth, decay and death that underpin all life are part of a story that can help us navigate this time of ecological uncertainty; and how we must return to a kinship with the seasons that is rooted in humility and offering.
Tickets are available for €20 and Song of the Seasons and Emergence Magazine’s Volume 6: Seasons will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
A related all-day workshop with Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee will be held the next day, Saturday March 28, exploring simple practices and ways of being that connect you with the ongoing unique expressions of the seasons. A bundle ticket for the Friday lecture and all-day workshop, including a copy of Song of the Seasons is available for €117.
